Arriving on an early flight and want to go shopping first, departing on a late flight and want to have lunch after checkout——in these situations, the hotel's luggage storage service is a lifesaver.
Below is a summary of IGO HOTEL's luggage storage rules and other options.
IGO HOTEL Luggage Storage Policy
01|Morning of Check-in Day|Can be stored until 15:00 check-in
You can store your luggage at the hotel on the morning of your check-in day (from 09:00 onwards) **free of charge**. The front desk will provide you with a storage receipt.
After 15:00, you can proceed directly to your room without needing to collect your luggage again.
02|Checkout Day|Available for storage until 21:00 on the day
After checkout (by 11:00 at the latest), luggage can be stored at the hotel until **21:00 the same day**. Free of charge.
We recommend picking up on the same day. If you need to pick up the next day or later, please notify us by phone in advance. A charge of ¥500/day may apply.
03|Oversized/Multiple Items|Up to 4 items per room
Standard luggage storage is 4 pieces per room (including handbags and carry-on bags). Suitcases 28 inches or larger count as 1 piece each, but if you exceed 4 pieces in total, please notify the front desk in advance.
For sports equipment (skis, bicycles), we recommend confirming in advance by email.
Other Storage Options
04|Station Coin Locker|¥300-700/day
Coin lockers are available at Shinjuku Station and Shin-Okubo Station. Prices range from ¥300 (small) to ¥700 (extra large) per 24 hours.
Holiday mornings tend to be crowded — we recommend using Suica with smart lockers (check availability via mobile app).
Luggage storage at the hotel is free; station storage is available 24 hours but requires a fee. **In most cases, storing luggage directly at IGO HOTEL is the most economical option**.
